underneath the cold exterior of samantha harper is just a girl who needs support and love. 😭 my heart goes out to her because of everything she has gone through and everything her family has done to her + the people around her. 

and CHRIS?? he’s one of the only people besides lennon to really *see* sam. she needed that. 😭

this book made me cry, sam lived her entire life feeling unimportant. and now she’s found her family and her true north. 🥹 i loved the cameos from macon & lennon!

if you’ve read the first book, then this one is about Q’s half brother, Henri. he’s been sent to infiltrate a sex trafficking ring owned by the Master Jeweler. in order to get into the ring, the master jeweler has henri kidnap Ily from the club when she’s on vacation in france. 

the master jeweler is sick in the head. 😭 i have such a soft spot for peter and all the “jewels”. this book does end on a cliffhanger and i cannot wait to read what happens in book 3!

i am so obsessed with this book, mainly because it has one of my favorite tropes! i love marlow with all her fun outfits, her dog, and her art. dylan quickly grew on me, even though he’s such a huge grump and meticulous with everything. lola and waffles are definitely the stars of the show! the way they stole my heart. 🥹

the way marlow’s parents treated her hit so close to home for me. i have never related more to a 23 year old lol. but i am extremely proud of her for accomplishing what she has in the art industry!

marlow & dylan had the talk briefly about going without c0ndoms right before their first time together and i appreciated that they didn’t use the word “clean” to describe themselves! very refreshing to see~

also can we talk about the studio scene!? 😮‍💨🎨
