isaac and tovah are my forever. 🥹 there’s just something about a dark hockey romance that gets me so into the story that i read it in one sitting. or rather, i would have if i didn’t have work lol.
isaac and tovah both have a past that makes them put up walls. i loved that slowly by slowly, isaac tears tovah’s down. he’s quite persistent. 🤪
their chemistry was seriously off the charts! i cannot wait to read the next book in this series. i’m gonna have to read all of jo brenner’s books if they’re as good as this one!

this book picks up right where book 1 left off and it was just what i needed! i loved that quinn finally got all of her men. 🥹 landon should’ve groveled more, but only because im a hoe for a good groveling scene.
it’s no surprise that i love landon, but max dread!? that man is the love of my life!! he’s so misunderstood and i love my men misunderstood and broody lol. i’m not quite sure how i feel about kingston yet, but i have a feeling i’ll love him just the same once the third book comes out!

i was in a bit of a reading slump until i read this one. i am obsessed with dr. west and jessica. they are so perfect together. i wanted to cry reading about how adam (dr. west) grew up, he went through so much as a child. his trauma responses had me SOBBING.

Loved this book! It was one of the first ones I read when I got back into reading as an adult, and it was sooo fun! I loved the slow burn and the tension. I always recommend this book to everyone getting into reading or getting into romance.
I'm also a sucker for workplace romances and fake dating. The way Aaron interacted with Lina's family was so cute! And he learned Spanish!!! AHHH. He is sooo swoon-worthy, I am absolutely obsessed.

LOVED THIS BOOK! karina halle is the perfect storyteller. i was drawn to this book because it covers the black dahlia murder, which i had a strange fascination with as a child. also, what's crazy is that i stayed at the biltmore at the end of february!
this book is romantic suspense, with a vampire twist. and you know how i love my vampire books.
when i was a kid, i used to get so frustrated that the black dahlia murder was a cold case. this book gave me a little bit of closure, even though it's completely fictional.

meghan quinn has done it again! i love sloane & hudson so much. 🥹 at first, i wasn’t sure how i would feel about sloane. she was very out there and has a HUGE personality, which is the total opposite of me. but i grew to love her as the story went on.
