this book was so fun to read! especially because the fmc speaks the same language as me. i had so much fun reading about her. i definitely related to the herbal soups and the dit.

ivy and nico are PERFECTION. i love the way it felt so natural when they started dating. and all the side characters! i loved xander and bianca.

ivy is a badass and that's the number one reason why everyone should read this book. my girl went through so much and she came out stronger on top with nico by her side.

this book was absolute perfection! gen and jake start off as a one night stand that quickly turns into a fwb situation. the way they turn into something more was so realistic, it actually reminded me of me and my boyfriend. 

i actually teared up several times reading about gen and her family. 😭 and jake was her rock through it all! and they had the cutest nicknames for each other!

my second book by letizia and i loved it! i’m a sucker for a good grumpy x sunshine trope, especially when the mmc is 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 a cowboy with tattoos.

i am so obsessed with primrose and logan. 🥹 and the way the characters dealt with their mental health! everything about this was chef’s kiss!

another 5 star read from rd baker! i feel live i’ve read a lot of vampire romances, but this one has been the best one so far! the concept is way different from anything else i’ve ever read.

i love silas and juliet. 🥹 the way their relationship formed felt so natural. i can’t believe everything juliet went through with her family, matt, and everything else at the compound. 

i could not get over how protective silas was! he just wanted to get her to safety every moment he could. 😭 and the ending!! it was perfection!

the book was way too slow and nothing was happening. it took me two full days to reach 65% of the book. and if you know me, that’s not normal because i usually finish one book a day.

it felt like i was forcing myself to read it and i just wasn’t enjoying it.

my most anticipated read of may and it did not disappoint!

i love blaze and kohen. 🥹 blaze comes from the wrong side of the tracks with her drug addicted mom, growing up poor. kohen grew up rich, with parents who didn’t care for him. they’re drastically different, with an understanding of each other. blaze is a klepto and kohen is a pyro. together, they make the perfect team. 🥹

i can’t believe avina made me almost ugly cry at the end wtf. 😭 but it does have an HEA so i’m glad hahaha.

this book does have some gory murder scenes in it, so i’d be cautious if that’s not your thing. i would check all the TWs because it does have darker themes than her other books.
