LOVED this novella! i wish it was longer. 😭 i wanted to read more about cat and draven! especially how he first saw her and what their lives are like now that she knows who he is.

this is jayti’s debut book and i am extremely grateful that she sent me a copy. 🥹

i wanna start out by saying that i LOVE these types of romance books where it’s dark and suspenseful. 

this book follows serena and mateo (beautiful names btw). serena went through something extremely traumatic and also has an unhinged stalker (not dark romance vibes). serena and mateo both work for law enforcement, and they have to figure out who this stalker is that’s been killing everyone they know.

i wish i didn’t have work today so i could read it without pausing lol. it physically pained me to put the book down. this was very well done!

CASSIDY, YOU GO GIRLLL. this book was completely different from her first book (red summer, which everyone has to read because it made me sob), but i loved this one so much. luca and finley are my babies!!

i’m a sucker for dark romances and this is cassidy’s FIRST dark romance!? nailed it, truly. 

while i love luca and finley, i also love levi! he’s finley’s best friend at the university. the way they trauma bonded. 😭
