This was so much fun!! Love the characters, love all the rep, the art is stunning, and I have SEVERAL new fictional crushes. Can’t wait for book two!
A very quick but informative read. As a non-binary person myself, a lot of the information in here was not new to me, but books like these are so important for people who want to learn. I often find with books or articles discussing gender politics, the language used can be really inaccessible to people who are just starting on their journey of learning about gender. But Alok’s writing is easy to understand for those who are still learning, while still being engaging for those of us who are well versed in this topic. This was easy to read and would absolutely be a great starting point for people who have questions, want to know more, as well as want to learn how to talk about gender with others
Cute story, fun art style, but this is definitely not for me

I had a lot of fun with this one! It wasn’t the Best Thing I’ve Ever Read kind of thing, but it was entertaining. The world and story were interesting, and I liked the characters, although the plot was a little predictable. The main thing that brought the rating down a little bit was the humour; it was very funny, the type of humour in Nimona is my favourite, but I found it took it a little too far sometimes and it ended up toeing the line of being stupid “toilet humour,” which I don’t like. But overall, this was a good time and I’m glad I finally got around to it!

I can’t get over how cute this series is! There really isn’t a whole lot going on in terms of plot, but that isn’t a negative thing. Both books so far have just been really simple character driven stories about the mundane parts of a not-so-mundane world, and I absolutely love that! I adore the characters, and love all the diversity that was seamlessly woven in. Overall, both books have managed to put a huge smile on my face and I can definitely see myself rereading them when I need a quick pick-me-up
This was such a cute, quick read! There’s really no plot to it, no conflict at all. It’s just a girl learning about tea dragons and making friends with the people she meets. Very wholesome read that put the biggest smile on my face, and with stunning art to go with it. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, and I’ll be picking up book two very shortly!
This was a lot of fun! I had never read an erotica before so I didn’t really know what to expect going into, but I was pleasantly surprised. The writing style was really good, the characters were intriguing (although they didn’t have *super* in depth personalities, but given how short this is that didn’t really bother me), and I loved where the plot went!
Overall, a fantastic read and I can’t wait to get to the sequels!
