I was pleasantly surprised by the genuine advice that I got from this book. Sheryl does an excellent job of combining her own personal experiences, anecdotes from others, and statistics into a book that is engaging and easy to read. I'd strongly recommended this book to anybody with hopes of a long and valuable career.

The format of a creative non-fiction makes this a very easy-to-read novel. The incorporation of the history of Rotherham dictionaries as well as definitions gives this novel a good overview of the history while also allowing readers to examine the work that was created.

The detail of this book absolutely blew me away. From the history of previous eruptions, to the history of humanity's understanding of volcanos and the tectonic processes that cause them, to the day-by-day and minute-by-minute recount of the eruption drew a complete, amazing, and terrifying picture of the event.
