" 'It's my job to take care of you, Principessa,' I repeated. 'All of you. Let me, damnit.' "

Mafia and werewolves? Automatic 5 stars. All the tropes get twisted for the better and you just don't expect what's coming.

Muse's writing style is so unique, as Queen of the Night is told in 1st person, but written like 3rd. It's very unique and makes it so interesting.

I still can't believe this was a novella. Told in such a short period of time, but you get so much backstory, character development, and more.

All the references, jokes, even inside jokes, made Queen of the Night that much more interesting and I fell in love from the first page.

Charlie and Frankie make such a great couple, and I definitely need more. Elizabeth Muse is definitely an author that I will read more of.

tropes // only one bed, Alpha MC, mafia, werewolves, retelling, forced proximity, Fated Mates, enemies to lovers

tw // graphic violence, panic attacks, nightmares, murder, blood, gore, violence, death of parents, death of family members, kidnapping

*Note: Elizabeth Muse gives a list of trigger warnings at the beginning of QotN. If any of them are not good for you, please do not read this novella. Graphic violence is shown in Ch. 12. Use caution and stay safe.*

" 'It's that simple, man. Be honest Just… sing your secrets.' "

Sing Your Secrets, the latest in Kay Cove's Love, Me & The 303 series, comes Reese's and Miles story.

God, I missed these girls. Everyone in the L,M&T303 gang makes you feel at home when you're reading their stories.

Reese Reyes and Miles Lorren, both down in their lives and relationships, come together when fate intercepts and throws them together with the rebuild of The Garage, their music home-place for years.

Reese is such a sweetheart; she knows what she wants, or so she thinks. When a wrench is thrown into her life, her life changes for the better. And Miles? You fall in love with him, from his very first line.

I absolutely love their relationship, the emotional and damaged pieces melding together. They healed together, blending their passions for music with their love.

And when she first says the words I love you? Emotional damage, right there.

If you're a fan of rockstars, second chance, music, love triangles, and no 3rd act break-up, this romance is for you.

"The Garage always had a plan Thank you for bringing me everything. Thank you for bringing me… home."

SCOOBY DOO.

I've only recently gotten more into Children's books and was pleasantly surprised.

I learned more about basic astrology than in my astrology class in college.

I'm a huge fan of Scooby Doo and loved all the interactions between the gang. The way the book was broken up, between pictures and learning was done very well.

Perfect for fans of Scooby Doo and any kids interested in Astrology.

Thank you to NetGalley and Capstone Press for an e-Arc.

"Her secrets were barbed and cut into her throat as they dropped into her stomach, where they were buoyed in her stomach acids."

The Cat Attacks brings us the second in A.C. Harrah's Match*Make Me A Vigilante series.

As a direct continuation of Fury and Furry, I felt like this was just part of the same book, and not the second. It felt like a very long chapter, and not a full length short story.

We get a lot of new characters, and while we do get a feel for them, we don't stay long enough to see them fully fleshed out.

I enjoyed the story, but just needed and wanted more.

A good next novella, perfect for any manga, magic girl trope, and Sailor Moon lover.

Thank you to NetGalley and A.C. Harrah for an e-ARC.

"Inevitably, every star dies, and it had seemed so much better to end their relationship before one of them got swallowed by the other on the way out."

This is a fast paced, fantasy romance novella, the first in Match*Make Me a Vigilante series. This gives off major Sailor Moon, vibes, as quoted from Harrah's acknowledgements.

Noelle, our main character, is a powerful witch, and after a tarot reading gone bad, gets mixed up with a possessed Aksel.

I really enjoyed Fury and Furry, and I enjoyed the characters.
I just wish it was a lot longer.

Overall, a quick fun novella perfect for fans of the magic girl trope and Sailor Moon.

" I knew I was into all things taboo, but this is something else–it's literally otherworldly.' "

Anything Halloween, sign me up!

This is my first novella by Faedra Rose, and I was not disappointed. She handles sweet and spicy in such a way that leaves readers hooked.

I felt like it cut off a bit at the end, and skips time during the night.

Overall, if youre looking for a short fantasy erotica novella, this is right up your alley.
