Definite departure from my normal reading. Futuristic sci-fi queer western. And Librarians. And unintentionally I’m reading The Giver of Stars (about librarians on horseback) at the same time. I didn’t love this book, but the smart sharp writing and creativity of theme compelled me to finish.

This book is lovely. Not sure why I waited so long to read it. Originally gave it four stars and because I can’t stop thinking about it, I’m changing my rating. Such great characters. The audiobook was lovely. Must either finish Adichie’s backlist it consider a reread on this one soon.

I am really inexperienced with poetry but this was beautiful and compelling. Some spoke to me mite than others. Especially loved the last section of pieces.
