This book just took my breath away. I read it in one sitting. It ended too quickly but perfectly. And the bonus 10th anniversary content in my version took my breath away again. The themes, the humor, the sadness, and brutally autobiographical. To paraphrase Gordon- all books must be read three times. And this one certainly will be by me. Wow.

A short and sweet story about families and aging. Beautifully written. I love Ove, but this piece will be why I want to read all of Backman's work.
