Before I start, I'd like to say that the images/artwork were very well executed, but the quality of the PDF was rather poor. It was hard to see the details, and the black and white aspect of the ARC didn't help.

I felt like the story was rushed, that you had to rush to get to the end and as a result I had a very hard time getting interested in the story.
As for one particular aspect of the story: the park pass, and the fact that this group of friends spends entire days there I found it almost impossible to believe and very little depth on the why and how. After the announcement that the pass is coming to an end, the group comes up with a ploy to get guaranteed access for life in the hope that an elderly person will die on the spot. I was expecting some dark humor, a dark story, why not an act of repentance or even better, characters who feel no remorse. In the end, none of that, in my opinion we even forget very quickly the initial goal of the group.
A group including two atrociously detestable and rather caricatural characters, but that the author makes them explicitly say their motivations rather than letting them show us by their actions.

Overall, I agree with another person : "it feels like all the potential of the story has been wasted, the story contains no surprises, no plot twist."

Je vais écrire un avis global sur la trilogie plutôt qu'un par livre.
J'ai trouvé le potentiel gâché et bâclé. La romance est si forcée entre les deux protagonistes que j'ai dû m'arrêter de lire à plusieurs reprises. Le "ils tombent fou amoureux au bout de 1h même si l'un des deux a peut-être tué son frère et l'autre à tué sa mère et son frère" s'adresse probablement à un publique plus jeune. A mon sens elle aurait dû commencer à voir le jour au tome 2, c'était loin d'être nécessaire plus tôt.

Toutes ces occasions manquées, j'étais certaine jusqu'au bout que Tess allait avoir un ARC villain pour pimenter un peu l'histoire, quelle déception! Elle aurait dû être celle qui a inoculé le virus à June plutôt que faire tomber la nouvelle du ciel.

Les caractères secondaires n'avaient aucune profondeur, je parle surtout de Tess et Eden qui n'a pas hésité une seconde à aider ce même gouvernement qui a tué sa famille et mené des expériences sur lui ¿? ¿

Je m'attendais à une bonne surprise étant donné les avis généraux, après peut être que la moi de 15 ans aurait eu un avis différent.

Parce que j'étais fan de la trilogie hunger games j'ai tout donné pour essayer de finir ce dernier tome. Le principe est intéressant, mais mal réalisé. C'est lent et inintéressant, vraiment dommage de conclure cette saga comme ça.
