If you're a fantasy reader, this book is for you! I devoured it! For a debut novel, this book was very well written. The world building was easy to follow, the characters were easy to love, and overall super captivating. This book does leave on a cliffhanger (but what good book doesnt) and I can't wait for book 2 to come out to see Thea and Clay's relationship evolve.

I recieved this as an ARC from the author for an honest review. This was my first exposure to hockey romances and I am hooked. It's a quick and easy read with SPICE! I felt like I could relate to the characters easily and liked the forbidden love aspect. I am definitely reading the next in the series as they come out!
