I went into this book not knowing what to expect, and I couldn’t put it down! What Noah has had to deal with growing up broke my heart, but I’m glad he found Adam. Or stalked him, I guess. The banter between the brothers was hilarious. I can’t wait to read more of this series. There’s definitely something fun about a family of mercenary psychopath killers that makes me want more.
I wasn't sure how I would feel about a story devoted to Atticus because of how he came across in Adam and August's stories, but he definitely redeemed himself. Plus, Jericho is *chef's kiss* perfection. I love watching these supposed psychopaths who think they have themselves all figured out realize that maybe they aren't as cold and heartless as they previously though.
Onley James does an amazing job writing male/male relationships. Especially the spicy scenes. I'm excited to see what else she has up her sleeve with the remaining Mulvaney boys. And Thomas Mulvaney himself.

As a true-crime podcast/doc/book lover, this book was exactly what I needed. Pip sets out to solve the story, and uncovers so much more. There were a few parts that, as a mother, I was screaming at Pip to not go alone. But I remember being 18 and being invincible. I'm excited to read the next book in the series!
This is great friends to lovers story about April and Bee. They go on a road trip together with some other friends, and April starts to develop a crush on Bree. It was fun watching the love blossom between these two. April talks herself out of pursing anything with Bee because she's convinced it just wouldn't work. Luckily, they have a great group of friends that support her and encourage her to pursue this relationship.
It was a lighthearted read, and I really enjoyed it!
