I received an ARC from NetGalley.

I could not finish. I kept hoping it would get better, but it didn’t. The relationship between mother and daughter just drove me nuts. There were some funny parts, but overall, I didn’t enjoy the book.

I gave up half way through. It drug on and on. There were a few problematic points for me. I know it was a different time, but I just couldn't get past them. I had high hopes for this book because I usually love Grady Hendrix's book, but this one fell short.

I love a good cozy mystery, but this one drug on and on for me. I dnf'ed half way through.
