I feel like this could be a case of the book getting better if I stick with it but honestly I don’t want to
I feel like the dowager duchess in downton abbey like girl ‘you’re a woman with a brain and reasonable ability stop whining and find something to do’.
I just kept thinking girl you’re a witch, you can do magic why are you wallowing in despair and burnout. You hate your new boss and think he’s making your job a worse place but you still refuse everytime the owner offers to sell the business to you because ‘it might fail’. Again girl you can do magic tf

It’s more technical than I thought it would be and I feel like I’m not understanding and just listening with the audiobook. I might pick up a physical version in the future but I’ve seen some people say that the conclusions are already outdated so maybe not. It was interesting though 

I can’t put myself through this. 
It’s very well written and I’m guessing it comes together at the end but being in the head of a woman that feels that marriage to a useless man gives her sense of superiority even as her friends are warning her and her emotions spin out of control because of it is too much for me. 

The characters are annoying to me

I’ve now accepted I hate this book and will not be trying to read it ever again 

My second hand embarrassment is too strong to put myself through this 

Just not my type of book. Amateur detectives who think they know better than the police annoy me 

Reading from the point of view of someone who is cheating on his wife and is probably going to commit murder to cover that up is excruciating for me
