MMC: "You could die" FMC: *He's so hot, he making me crazy...* what even was this. I like romance books and from my reading history you can tell but this... this was odd. Sometimes smutty romance and wannabe thrillers aren't meant for each other.

The FMC bugged me, idk her mother had more common sense than she did.

It was not for me.

It's been two or three months since I started this and I just couldn't get into into it.

Dear lord this sucked. I just couldn't I found both MCs so annoying. But especially the FMC. I completely understand that as someone who

has not experienced domestic violence I am unable to speak on the issue personally. But I didn't like this at all. I know that some women who experience domestic violence stay as they're isolated and have become completely dependent on their abuser. So that as a "plot" point was understandable but everything else was not. I feel the MMC cared more for the daughter and the mother. And that she was unable to understand "seperate" violent scenarios only introduced really as some sort of additional/underlying plot device to support the evil ex plot as if being an abuser wasn't enough??? It got so out of hand so quick. Therapy was mentioned at the beginning for the evil ex and if the FMC had escaped and been saved by the shelter and its workers WHY WAS SHE NOT PUT IN THERAPY IMMEDIATELY.

I just couldn't carry on.

Why does everyone so far suck?! The two MCs are horrible people. He sl*t shames her and so she s*ut shames the other women he's with?! Newsflash it doesn't make her a *quirky* and *likeable* MC it makes her a crap person. Having s*x*u*l relations with multiple people is fine for him but not for the women he's with??? And you don't even know if they have multiple partners (which is fine btw) he's the only one confirm and she's

cheating left right and centre but ain't the bad guy. No because she's figuring out who she is and that makes it okay... like what.

This is the kinda book I really hate. It's taken a long time for women for finally escape the whole "been with less men = more attractive and socially desired quality" and this is just bleh.
