miscommunication trope reared its ugly head and i didn't connect with the characters enough to put up with it

I wanted to like this, but I am realizing that I really don't like the "immediate connection makes me act like a fool" trope. I wanted a badass heroine, not one constantly distracted by a man she just met. I understand it is meant to be romantic, but it's not my personal taste. :( 

didn't care about the characters or plot enough to deal with this amount of smut lol

loved the premise but found the execution dull. characters with little personality and little chemistry.

there was nothing driving the plot or the chemistry. male lead was insufferable
