An interesting novel that challenges the beliefs of Southerners in 1959.
Some scenes were difficult to read due to the nature of the language but reminiscent of the truth of the experiences.
An inspiring novel about self-growth and forbidden love.

Omg absolutely obsessed!!
Always a little weary of books that start off as fan-fiction (especially the Star Wars kind) but my god.
I was hooked from the onset. Olive’s warm and bubbly personality - she’s the literal embodiment of sunshine - contrasts with Adam’s dark, brooding and grumpy demeanour. Like every romcom, it starts with a fake date and ends as so much more.
The supporting characters were just as loveable - Malcom, Anh and Holden. Some shocking twists to keep you on your toes.
I challenge anyone to not fall in love with this book. Outstanding.

Enjoyable story with an interesting take on the Queen.
Was fun to try and work out the truth behind the murders alongside the Queen and the MI5. Will definitely be reading the next instalment.
