This book was a great escape for me. I got excited to pick it up every time. I felt like I was looking into a snow globe and following the people of Maple Falls. 

This one tugged at my heart strings and could relate to some of the characters in this one. I will say, it’s a page turner with heart breaking moments. The MC is courageous, strong and determined. There were shocking moments and such sad moments with inequality and racism. 

Oh wow! This is my kind of book. This book was engaging right to the very end. I couldn’t stop reading as I needed to know what happens! Tash is a mom/journalist and starts looking into the disappearance of Sophie who was a nanny. Read this if you love neighbourhood drama, psychological thriller, lies and secrets.

This is my second book by Adrienne Young and I am yelling from the roof tops - she is now an auto buy author for me going forward 🙌

This book! I went in blind and I suggest you do too. This story was just everything for me. It brought out all my emotions. It’s been a long time where I kept thinking of a book if I wasn’t reading it and hoping I’d get home to keep reading. I also took my time as I didn’t want it to end. I am not sure how Adrienne kept everything straight, but this story was amazing for me. She is so darn clever!! 

There is a bit of mystery, magical realism, complicated family history.
