Omg this story 😭 my heart ached almost the whole time I was reading.  I couldn’t put it down and read it in less than 24 hours. I had no idea what this book was about but knew I wanted to read it based on all the 5 stars I saw.  This story follows a Mi’kmaq family from Nova Scotia who’s 4 year old daughter disappears. This story deals with loss, grief, motherhood and love. This is a debut and cannot wait to see what she writes next. 

I was sooo hesitant to start this one. So glad our buddy read made me pick it up. This story follows William and the Padavano sisters. I will tell you now, it’s not a fast paced book by any means. It’s very character driven but so beautifully told. Exactly what I was in the mood for. This book made me cry and gave me all the feels. Really enjoyed the mental health rep that unfolded in this story. I truly loved it right from the beginning.
