I loved Jolene the MC. She was quirky and just so loveable. This story takes place in an office setting. Only thing should have timed this better as I was on vacation 😂…this book had humour but dealt with tough topics as well. I loved how it is a debut and from a Canadian author 🇨🇦

This story was sad but was about  bravery. friendship, freedom for women in Iran, family, love. Ellie and Homa met when they were seven. Come from different classes. They had this bond.
