This was atrociously bad. I understand it's a short story but I've read 'The Slob' so I know what Beauregard is capable of writing but practically nothing happened in this and whatever did happen was the most boring drivel I've ever read. 

I had high hopes for the premise of this but Beauregard went in the worst, most boring direction that I was greatly disappointed when I finished it. 

I don't see why a lot of serial killers quote this as their 'manifesto' - they've clearly misunderstood the book to give themselves an excuse for their actions...

It was a gut wrenching read and I'm thoroughly disgusted, but I couldn't put it down

The movie was better
