This was fun and fast. I did think the ending was a bit too handwavy, it could have done with more time and story. Dunno if that is just the curse of a novella, but this felt a bit too easily fixed off screen even for a novella.
This is one of those books that you start in the morning, sitting outside in the sunshine, and then in the evening you've suddenly finished it.
I loved it. To me it was about being nonbinary, queerness, anxiety, depression, therapy, online friends, real life friends, difficult family situations and a lot more. Very good.

Really enjoyed this. Started this morning, finished just before dinnertime. Best way to spend the day when avoiding the frankly absurd temperatures outside.
(Also, demi-ace character. Aw yeah).

A christmas read was perfect for this dreary rainy day end of may :D
Love it.
What a surprise after reading it all two... three times online at least? :D

I will readily admit that I skipped my reread of the horror story this time, which says good things about the story, and bad thing about my ability to enjoy good horror :P
Not all of the stories are my exact cup of tea, which makes sense in a collection with such varying subjects. However, one of the stories in this collection is very dear to me, and made me cry. Thank you again, Ava, in a non-sarcastic, serious way <3
