A good wintery read, and it's great to see more of these characters, more insight into their lives and persons ^^
I say this with almost every short story/novella I read, but I want more! The character building was very nice, interesting personalities too and it made me want to read more about them ^^ (While it was no problem to read this as a standalone, I guess this means I will need to buy part one of the series too, since I bought this one without realising it was a part two and I do want more of it :D )
I enjoyed this book SO MUCH! Really, I want to recommend it to everyone who reads this review. Go, go read, now! :P
Some stories were better than others, as is to be expected in an anthology.
Skipped the last story as the opening paragraph made racist observations.

A fake dating story with a bunch of other tropes thrown on top, I loved it :D A perfect short story for christmas eve :)
First things first: The cover is super pretty and shiny.
I started reading this on a day I had quite some travelling and waiting to do. I finished it on that same day :D I really enjoyed it! I may have enjoyed/experienced the suspense and scarier parts better if I didn't finish it withing 12 hours, but that may be a good thing, because my brain tends to stay stuck in the mindset of the main character, and that wasn't always a good place to be for a longer time :)

I've had this book waiting for me for ages, but I read the first page and a half once when I didn't have good focus, didn't get pulled in immediately, misremembered it a bit and didn't open it again for a long time. Today I did and also finished it :P I really enjoyed it, I enjoyed the worldbuilding, how it took the original story, tweaked details of it, built upon it and made it queer, but also gave little details more meaning.
Whenever there was something that I found a bit odd/illogical, it was later explained and made sense.
