Ministry of Alien Relations was so much fun to read!

Getting to see Zal's view of Earth, the troubles with translations of slang and indirect language, all a fun way too look at our own earth through a fresh lens! I also enjoyed the romance (and related situations). I felt like the characters kept a realistic view of things, which is nice to see!

I'm super glad this is a series, and will definitely keep an eye out in the future for Rebecca Cohen's work!

This graphic novel has both really good art, and a good and well researched story (I loved the notes at the end about the resources used and choices made, always a plus to see that!).

I really enjoyed seeing the different types of diversity displayed in the story!  But besides all that, it was also just an engaging book, interesting worldbuilding with the magic systems and broom racing and I loved getting to know the characters!

Important: keep going after the acknowledgements, there's more to be had!

I would like to thank Netgalley and Levine Querido for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review!

I nearly cheered when I saw the next installment in this series was coming, I love reading them so much. This part focused on all new characters but it still feels just as nice to read.
The sources of conflict in this book felt well-dealt-with and taken serious enough. And the 'twist' if I can call it that in the second half of the book had very cute effects, and a great solution <3
I recommend this series so much :D

Took me a long while to get into the book, and it was a relatively slow read for me.
In the end it was a nice read, but not one I would recommend to friends full of enthusiasm.
