This book was not for me at all. While I loved book 1 and found book 2 okay, this was unfortunately just not it. 17 year old me would probably eat this book right up, though.
It was way too repetetive for me and I couldn't connect with any of the main characters. While I sympathized with Paz for all his struggles, he just annoyed me, even if I tried to care about him.. I don't really have much to say about Alano. Parts of his chapters read more like a Wikipedia article than a fiction book.
I don't know if I'll read the next book when it's published. While I found the final sentence intriguing, I don't think it's enough to justify the rest of the entire book.

I really liked the book (absolutely HATED June), but the story got pretty predictable towards the end. The ending was a little disappointing as well. I was waiting for her life to be fully ruined smh, not just her going crazy delusional. I'm sure it happened in the future, but I wanted to read it.
