I thoroughly enjoyed the stories I read of this book. I only planned to read Bloodchild, which was creepy, imaginative, and sad. Desperation for survival on all fronts. I did also read The Evening and the Morning and the Night. Interesting disease and also the control of it. The main characters seemed almost high schoolish in the beginning. Overall, great stories. I am sure there are more good ones in the book, but not reading them at the time

I so wanted to love this book, but it was slow and I could not get over the pedophilia representation, no matter how it was spun in this fantasy. I kept waiting for something more to happen, that did not. I did enjoyed the drug inducing saliva, the unique polyamory, the diverse racial makeup, and the legal system within the community. Overall, it was a great story, just not for me.

Great depiction of the book Kindred. Vivid, graphic images that make you horrified at what people are capable of and what people can endure. Realistic enough to spark strong emotions. Book was easy to read, but I did feel that some details from the original book were missing so I was confused at times. This makes a great companion piece, but nothing substitutes for reading the actual novel. Great adaptations.
