The Visitor is bloody, gruesome, fun and surprising. The action gets started quick too so no waiting around. The diverse racial make up of the characters was really nice to see. And for such a short book, I felt I did get invested in them. The dog is my favorite character. I really enjoyed this book and am glad I finally read it.

Secret Santa was funny, suspenseful and scary all at the same time. Lussi was a smart resourceful girl, but she would definitely not win me over with a fruit cake. I liked the quirky characters and the plot was good. It was written and executed well. However, I will say I did expect more sinister stuff to happen. I was not as creeped out as I expected to be.

Secret Santa Surprise was a very fun sci fi erotica book. Steamy, but not too crazy, except for the merged ****. That was nuts. I need a Clear and Strong in my life. It had just enough tech to categorize as sci fi, then get the ball rolling on the good stuff. The breast lifter mechanism needs to be made ASAP. Would make a fortune. Book had some serious all to real themes and they were described very well. That ex husband can kick rocks. Ya'll dead beats are real; spot them early before they get into your psychy. Great book, loved the whole thing.

Loves Grinches was cute, heartwarming, and fun. It felt jumpy and there was not a lot of spice. I liked the drama with this sister, but I definitely wanted more drama all around. And home girl needs to take charge of her personal life like her professional life.

Infidel shows what happens when hate consumes people. I loved the realistic illustrations of ethnicities and the difference perspectives presented. The conversation of attraction being racist or preference was thought provoking. The book itself is gruesome/gory and that was fun. Very eye opening graphic.

I found it hard to get into Where Black Stars Rise. Much of the wording was hard to see due to light print and colors, and the story was hard for me to follow because the illustrations were so busy. I did like it tackled mental illness, self acceptance, and had a queer islamic character. This novel was just not for me.

Dirtbag Rapture was a fun read. Girl likes her drugs and that coping mechanism is not far fetched. Colorful graphic novel, easy to read and get into. Good time with a great plot.

I love this celebration of sisterhood and minority hair care. Also hair care of different types too. The struggle is real. I love it and want to read more. Some serious themes are also included: depression, stalking, messy relationships, family drama, queerness. Illustrations are beautiful and there is even naked ladies. Love love love it.

The Vessel is dark, cryptic, suspenseful and has occult activity. But I kept thinking nosy people deserve what they get. And also this lady kept over stepping her bounds. I did not like it ended at 89%. Where is the rest of the book. Glad I got it on KU and have that membership, otherwise I would be pissed.

Nice and Naughty did a lot of jumping around. Once I got the hang of it, I could keep up. This is actually more serious than I thought it would be, but it was still good. I did not like the complaining about wanting a man. Not really erotic like I thought.
