This book was downright irresistible. When Marcie told Fiona that she had been dating Gabe, I freaked out. When Fiona plastered an adult diaper on Todd's ass, I cracked up for like 5 minutes. When Johnny told Fiona he liked her, I squealed. Out loud. Squealed.
All the characters are ridiculously wonderful. My only real issue is that I couldn't quite see why Fiona hated Amanda with such a burning passion. Amanda wasn't that mean to her. :/ Thoughts?
A delightful, original book that I would recommend to pretty much everyone. :D

This book seems like it would be pretty straightforward. Teacher, Eve (young, female), molests and sleeps with student, Josh (boy, age 12). Josh grows up, Eve gets released from jail, coming-of-age story ensues. But it isn't quite that simple. There's also Rachel. She was the catalyst of the whole debacle, the court and prison and therapy. If it hadn't been for that fateful night in the closet, the relationship between Josh and Eve might have remained a secret. Since then, Josh has completely avoided Rachel, believing that she despises him. But in actuality, that's the farthest thing from the truth.
I loved this book. 5 stars.

Ummm...I had very mixed feelings about this book. I loved all the wolf drama, with the ranchers vs. environmentalists. However, I found KJ to be super boring as a main character. I felt like the romance was kind of random, just thrown in there so that the book would appeal to teens. A couple times I was tempted to just stop reading, but I ended up sticking with it till the end. It was an interesting story (with the wolves, at least), and just entertaining enough to keep me reading.
I read the whole Skinned series and 100% loved it. So I was a little bit surprised that I didn't like this book more. It was fine, just sort of blah. It was kind of slow, and I didn't really get hooked until the very end. I'll probably read the second, and I hope I like it better than this one.
