Honestly kinda brilliant! This was a really fun audiobook to dip in and out of. Nothing earth-shattering, but there’s really solid genre storytelling here (and some of my fave short story hooks, maybe ever??) that makes me want to read more Overholser + Westerns in general.

Plus Ramiz Monsef is a stellar narrator, with a yummy, smooth voice that just WORKS for the content, so I think I’ll be inclined to pick up other Western audiobooks that he’s narrated.
