I felt like it was hinting at a compelling premise but continually evading it in favor of dense, backstory-heavy character analysis.

Socially anxious twitch streamer Abbott isn't quite sure how he ended up here: stealing his dad's pristine Lincoln Navigator to transport a mysterious girl and her even-more-mysterious black box across the country, with a tattooed biker, a retired FBI agent, and a small army of Redditors (??) in pursuit. And yet, and yet. Delightfully wacky, startlingly perceptive--this laugh-out-loud road trip thriller adeptly captures & critiques our hyper-polarized, extremely-online cultural moment.

Much going on! I’m finding myself feeling very apathetic about all the characters. Might try again another time.

Not feeling it right now…it feels very YA in the worldbuilding and I’m not in the mood
