Yeah, that was awful. Really only have myself to blame for reading this one. 

There is no way this narrator isn’t just ai. I’m offended they’d try to pass this off as real. Or they don’t know how or when humans breath or break up sentences. I don’t know which is worse.

also, this is the worst thing I’ve ever read. The main character is the worst person I’ve ever known. He has no hobbies, no passions, no personality and for some reason the world completely revolves around him figuratively and literally. The world building is complete shit and just does whatever it wants. Powers based on convenience so the mc can be omnipotent about way too many characters. 

Next time let’s not kill ourselves in front of all our friends for a person we’ve known for 3 days. 

3 stars actually, but one star just for Penelope. God do I love her. She was such a moment of joy to contrast everything else in this book.
