I really love the Star Wars movies and thought I would read a Star Wars book. After seeing one of the later books in the Fate of the Jedi series displayed at my local library, I decided to pick up Outcast. Overall, I really liked it although it seemed a bit slow at times. Even though I didn't read the Legacy of the Force series, I was given plenty of background information to catch up to where Outcast takes place. It was an overall good read and I would recommend to any Star Wars fan.
