Essential, replenishing reading. Excited to return to it again and again. :)
reflective fast-paced

Fascinating premise, and I greatly enjoyed the beginning. However, I started to lose interest by the middle and skimmed the rest.
Definitely would be interested in a follow-up that goes more in-depth about cancel culture, considering the book was originally published in 2014.

WOOF. Going to be thinking about this one for a while.
Like other reviewers said, this was not what I was expecting, but still incredibly compelling.
Look up ALL the trigger warnings before reading!!

Not really in the mood to keep going with this right now. Maybe I’ll return to it later
challenging informative slow-paced

Incredibly informative and changed the way I view labor and working. However, it is very slow. I would recommend keeping this book on hand as a reference (the bibliography is incredible), but I wouldn’t recommend trying to read it all in one sitting.

DID NOT FINISH

Found this one to be underwhelming to be honest. I understand its overall societal critique and messaging; however, I have read other books that are similar thematically that got the point across with more impact.

This is the best short story collection I’ve ever read
