I would definitely pick up more from Cynthia Ozick as the writing was excellent in portions of this book. However, the narrator and the story failed to capture my interest.

A solid primer and introduction on how corporate feminism fails us all. Would love to see someone update and revise this text to more explicitly discuss how queer and trans women and nonbinary folks are failed by corporate feminism.

Every short story collection would be better if it featured raccoons that could breathe underwater

I think that Chelsea Manning’s story is hugely important and I would love to research more into her life and look up any author events/podcasts she may have done. However, the actual writing in this book was very dry and did not compel me to keep going. She spends a lot of time discussing the minutiae of the military, which personally did not interest me very much.
