Read this at age 15 or 16 for school, and I didn't enjoy it at the time. I think I would understand it better if I reread it now as an adult, something I would like to do eventually.
This book was amazing! Before I read it, I hadn't even really heard of mountaintop removal, but I live near Appalachia (although I live closer to the city) and I would hate to have that happen to my state. This book opened my eyes to new issues in this country, and I'm really glad it did so I can maybe help to do something about it some day!
