I was a bit thrown off by the major character shift and the "incident" but WOW. In the end, I couldn't put it down (aside from when classes made me).

Overall I really enjoyed it. I expected the main character to take his shift of perspective differently but overall I was very pleased with the outcome. The adventure was funny and witty and kept me on my toes, and I loved OWEN, wow. I was a little on the fence sometimes and probably would have given 4 stars if the ending hadn't been what it was.

I genuinely couldn't put it down except for when I had to. Beautifull written, thought-provoking, and powerful. This book makes you want to take every woman you see by the hand and ask if she's doing alright, then help each other accomplish all your dreams.

It took me a few chapters to officially get into the book (let's blame that on school more than anything), but once I was in, I was IN. I was pleasantly surprised but how much I didn't see coming and how well the author was able to keep me invested and on my toes.

That was wonderful. After getting about 25% of the way through, the last thing I wanted was to ever put the book down. I've become a huge fan of books that shift through characters and along timelines, and this was no exception. Every piece of information was presented at exactly the right time, every single one making me go "shooooot" in response.

Be wary, however. This book is not for the faint of heart. The topics are just as hard as the choice our heroines had to make.

Having already read The Guest List, I was definitely able to see the similarities. Entitled group of friends from way back on a posh holiday, finally digging up all their old secrets. While the basic plot seems to follow a similar path, the this book brings with it entirely new drama and twists. It kept me guessing until (almost) the very end, and that's my kind of book.

Groundhog Day, but make it Christmas.

Brb I'm going to guy guy a cabin in the woods and find some more friends.

I expected it to be a little funnier, based on the back cover, but I think I preferred it with just this level of funny.
