It was a quick read, and kept you guessing as to what happened. However, like many others, I'm a bit disappointed in the ending - though the foundation was certainly set for that to be exactly what happened. Overall it wasn't bad. The writing was choppy, as Shari favors short sentences over long and descriptive ones. I think the plot was intriguing but could have been served better by a different writer.

The beginning was a bit slow and it took time to get used to Eleanor's awkwardness. But once I did, she truly came alive. I think she was portrayed extremely well, and the gradual reveal of the mystery kept me on my toes.
