I freaking love this book! The relationship was engaging from the start. I loved both the characters. I’m a fan of age gap romances but this is my first with an older female lead. Highly recommend.
I don’t know how Penelope Douglas does this but she takes a very tricky idea and somehow, makes the characters believable and engaging. This one really worked for me.
I enjoyed this, and I’m always here for a slow burn but this couple didn’t click with me. I don’t think I would have finished this if I wasn’t listening to it on audiobook.

Part decluttering instruction, part memoir. Glad to know the memoir bits, but I’m hoping her next book Spark Joy, has more detailed instruction as I try take my decluttering to the next level.
