I need 10-20 business years for my heart to recover from the emotional roller coaster ride this book just sent me on.

At first I just want to sit down with Seren and be like my girl .. you've had some STRUGGLES with the men in your life ..maybe you should just switch teams.

Because man number one, well you loved him, I was sus from the start, but I get it. Fresh out of the nunnery, he saved you, that's some real prince charming $hit right there but then well .....you know.

Man number two, I get it. Chosen to be your consort, he's a GREAT man but who wants to bow to the whims of gods and systems. Seems rather archaic and he'd treat you right but.....I get it.

Then your past lives former lover shows up ....PLOT TWIST my friend.

Definitely switch teams....but wait....is one actually wooing you? Us? Cares about our feelings? Asks for consent? Wants to help you in your goals? Make you stronger?

Ok...ok...maybe switching teams was a drastic call ..let's see where this goes.

Where it went:

Now in recovery waiting for book three.

Did I neglect every adult responsibility I had to be emotionally destroyed by a paper back?

Absolutely yes I did.

To summarize:
Otar is BFF goals, please plan the best revenge with me, claim my gift as your own and threaten our love interest for being dumb smelly boys.

Also dad goals, green flag, yes please.

Witty banter? βœ“
Dark and handsome? βœ“
Smut?βœ“
Betrayal?βœ“
Revenge?βœ“

I laughed, I cried, I sent reactions to my book bestie through her whole date because HOW DARE SHE NOT BE AVAILABLE AS MY HEART WAS RIPPED FROM MY CHEST, SMASHED TO A PULP AND SET ON FIRE!

AKA blew up her phone because obviously she's not Otar. (PS T, you know it's not personal and that date wasn't even that fun sooooo I just gave you some entertainment)

PS if your book bestie is unavailable please feel free to message me as your heart is destroyed in a vicious manor.

TLDR: Just go read it. Like right NOW!

I've been reading books about ADHD since my own diagnosis at the ripe age of 33.

What I love about this book as a fitness and nutrition trainer was how much it aligned with what I tell my clients all the time:

1. Self care isn't just bubble baths and spa days. It's setting boundaries, remembering to take meds and vitamins, saying no or resting when we need to.

2. Nutrition matters for more than just weight loss.

3. Exercise is any movement you enjoy, even dance parties with your kids.

Some eye opening things for me. I remember once, telling an adult I might have ADHD and being told no because if I did I wouldn't be able to read like I do but I saw my younger self in two examples.

1. Every notebook, test or worksheet I ever had, had doodles all over it and I'd get in trouble for not paying attention or not keeping my pages neat BUT it was my fidget before fidgets existed. I needed my hand to do something between notes and thoughts so I could pay attention.

2. I remember reading at a party at my house and one of my dad's friends asking how I could read with the music so loud and I said I tuned it out (mind you it was loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear) and he was like HOW?! Hyper focus is a real super power sometimes. .

But all in all this book has solid tips, real life examples and questions to help you see what areas you need help in and I highly recommend it!

Even if the tips aren't all for you, it feels good to find stories you can relate to and know you're not alone or the only one who deals with these things.

This book has top read of the year written all over! ( I know I said that about Awakening the Dark Throne) But hear me out.

Witches βœ“
Betrayal βœ“
Romance βœ“
Good vs Evilβœ“
Training for battleβœ“
(the trainer in me who literally only works out to survive worlds LOVED this) + our heroine who is trying to gain muscle and get stronger actually eats food (a ton of it) because no one should be running and then having toast and coffee for breakfast (sorry guys) and I ABSOLUTELY loved that our girls trainers know how to train!

If you've made it this far, do yourself a favor and grab this and know Jessica Ann Disciacca is about to be added to your auto buy author list.

This is the BEST book I've read all year, possibly the best book of 2024!

Gen has had a hard life but she has her family, until she doesn't. She sets off on a mission to save her sister and what she finds along the way?

Love. Betrayal. A corrupt political system. Enemies. Allies. Magic. Dragon. Demons and more.

What would you do to save yourself? Your loved ones? Your family? Your community?

If the answer is anything, you're gonna love this story.

I laughed, I cried, I screamed I knew it!

BEST BOOK of 2024!

When can I have book two πŸ‘‰πŸ‘ˆ

It's bitter sweet to reach the end of such an amazing series. I was hooked from book one and WOF did not disappoint. I laughed, I cried, I wished for more of Axle's story. πŸ˜‰

I adore that the main heroine is my age. Not many 30 year old heroines out there, not many of us finding our way to Paris either πŸ˜‰

I wish I could read this again for the first time!

The spice is πŸ₯΅ and the story is πŸ₯°

This book is an interesting take on angles & demons and heaven and hell.

I found myself laughing and rooting on our heroines.

It's an FF, fated mates romance, not too spicy but very enjoyable!!

I loved the communication between the characters and I can't wait to read more!

The first part of this book was πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅.

The πŸ₯› and 🐍... πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅

The build up πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅

The plot twist mid book?! 😭😭😭

Then straight back into πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅

I'm glad this is book one because I need to know where my death trio will be getting up to next!

I totally missed the part where it said this was two stories in one, so it was a little jarring to switch mid book (my bad for alway  going in blind πŸ˜‚)but when the stories connect it's totally worth it!

Thank you so much for your writing this!

Iits a dark and challenging story that takes you on a roller coaster ride or dispair, hope and love.

All kids think that maybe they were adopted at some point but imagine finding out you were really swapped at birth!

It's an emotional ride but so worth it!
