Devastating and dare I say, in some ways, better than the first one.

It can be read as a collection of short stories, though some of them are connected. It felt a little repetitive, and the commentary on how beauty is seen by society is a little overshadowed by the lack of character development. The afterword by Junji Ito was unnecessary and concerning.

A stream-of-consciousness work that, as the blurb suggests, challenges the limits of language. Probably very enjoyable for those who are into "vibing with the universe" or new age-y lit. Although at moments it does feel presumptuous (I rolled my eyes more times than I wanted), a lot of inspiration can be drawn from several of these vignettes. Looking forward to reading more works from her, particularly having high hopes for her more structured fiction.
