This is possibly the coziest memoir I've ever read (well, listened to in this case). Clara Parkes describes her life of traveling to various knitting conferences and the knitting world in general. She talks about the people and fascinating places she finds herself encountering in the process. A perfect fall read for evenings snuggled up at home.
Love, love, love this series! Haven't gotten really into a comic for a while, but I went back to the library immediately after finishing the first two volumes to get the next ones. Witty, romantic, creative, and well-illustrated.
Great Halloween book! Definitely lots of creepy parts. I could easily see this getting turned into a movie.
It's been awhile since I've read poetry, but Patricia Smith's work is just so well-written; you can tell she has experience as a spoken word poet. She nails the end of each poem with such grace and wistfulness.
