This was better than book 2, and Presley in this book was similar to the one in book 1. Looks like the author went back to her initial characterization.
Though I do understand in a way, Presley's mistrust in Cooper was almost annoying, especially when he was clearly trying to make things work. Finally, she agrees to give it a try, so I'll be reading the next book.

Chelsea was better in this book though Miss May is still my favorite. A few formatting issues with the ebook. The storyline was good enough.

This novella was better than book 1 so I'm hoping the series would gain momentum and become more interesting. Short, simple, and fun to read, this book takes less than an hour from start to finish.

Well, the book was okay. Somehow, I liked Miss May more than Chelsea. Maybe if she didn't drool and swoon over the cop, I'd have added half a star more. Just that the female amateur sleuth falling for the detective seems to be quite common. :(
The narration was light and fun so I can't really complain there.

I haven't read the previous two books but this was still an easy read. Cozy mysteries are my latest favorite and this one had good elements of mystery and all kinds of characters thrown in.

Well, I read book 4 first (courtesy a free copy) but it didn't make much difference (except for a new character introduction). Miss May is still a favorite, and Chels is obviously stumbling all the way.

It was a fast read again despite the various characters popping in and out. The best thing is that the love triangle gets closure. Phew!

Not great or memorable but works well for a lighthearted read when traveling or bored.
