It's been a while since a book made me chuckle and teary-eyed at the same time. The narration is cheeky, casual, and heartwarming at the same time. I'm glad to have picked this book as my year-end read.
-0.5 for all those adverbs that stared at me throughout the book.

This one took a while to get into but was worth it. I liked it better on the second read and could appreciate the author's use of the elements for his plot.
