A pretty sweet and simple story. The conflict was n't as intense but since I was looking for a light read it suited me (this time).

Possibly a one-time read book. There is enough humor to keep the reader not loose interest.

This is a short story with a mystery that involves characters from the series. Since I haven't read the first book it was a bit difficult to understand who was who initially. But as the story progressed I was involved in the plot.
Now, time to read book 1 and know more about Hannah. She's an interesting character and seemed like someone I'd love to know more.

The story was interesting and fun to read. The characters were lively. It can be read as a standalone though the book ends with a starter for the next book. Just 2-3 paragraphs that can be ignored if you are not a fan of series.

Wonder what the author was thinking when she wrote the last part of the book. The way the crime was solved was absurd and almost felt like cheating. And just when I resigned myself to the fact that the protag made a decision (or the author did in book 4), it had to be messed up in this one. It messed up the series midway.
She says there'll be one last book after this one. I'm going to wait for that. Easy not to mess up that one so I can safely conclude the series.

Interesting characters, light mystery with suspicious characters, a heroine with special gifts and a pearl necklace- the book though small is wonderfully interesting to read. Nothing really goes overboard. I could guess the culprit and the ending did not shock me.
Apart from the mystery, the major plot was about the MC's past and how she gets the answers she was hoping for.
Beautiful.

This is what I'd call a cool, witchy story. A light read that has humor, magic, murder, and love.
