Well, this wasn't even really funny. I totally liked Duece though.
At least York fell in love with her big, big dove eyes and not long legs or ample bosom. Some concession.

This must be one of those week's when I take wrong decisions. Sigh! Another wrong book selection!
It's not every day that I start a book without reading the synopsis. I've read Kay Hooper before and I loved how she builds the tension in the story.
But this book disappointed me. It started so well, but then I got bored of Victoria and Falcon. Hamilton was more interesting and so was Mary. Wish they had more space.
The mystery somehow lost importance and it doesn't happen in her other works.
I'll try another book. Hopefully, I won't regret reading that.

Now, this is one book I definitely regret reading. I did not like the hero and the heroine wasn't that great either.
Love doesn't seem to be really anywhere seen until the last 2-3 pages or so. Most of the time they act childish and stupid.
The characters definitely need to grow up and act matured.

The stories went from nice to boring in a few pages. Each had the same pattern and similar track. Though I do not know about Elvis, I enjoyed the descriptions of The Original Heartbreak Hotel. Having the Elvis ghost solve issues for the characters gave me mixed feelings.
A one time read.

I like SL's characters but not in this book. For the first half, I thought Pris was stupid at her best. I mean, she goes to a new place to save her brother and knows absolutely nothing about what is going on. She couldn't trust Dillon to share what she knew but she sure as hell could have sex with him.
Dillon definitely grew up from being irresponsible but I got bored of reading about how he and Pris were really handsome, beautiful and no one could take their eyes off them. I understood they were good looking, I definitely don't need that to be repeated once in every two pages.
This book has left me really disappointed except for the last few pages where there is some fast-paced action.

I usually enjoy Nora's works a lot but this one was a little too much with the hero. The first publication shows 1985 and that does explain things. Wish some elements were changed when it was republished.
