Only fifteen or twenty years behind. 15 points to Gryffendor. Pretty creative and whimsical. She created a whole world, rich with language and nuance. Storytelling and dialogue is lacking and characters are somewhat flimsy but appreciate a strong, smart female and a boy who doesn't want to take all the credit.
I wish he'd presented it more intelligently. I felt like everything was punctuated with two finger pistols and a tongue click. Interesting topics from a fairly comical approach.
moody and ethereal. reminded me of all my favorite spooky kinds of things: Coraline (whimsical but also terrifying), labyrinthine like House of Leaves, and a timeless terror like Needful Things. bam. my first gaiman.
Losing the Signal: The Untold Story Behind the Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall of BlackBerry
interesting story telling, plot was a bit over convoluted. characters were only slightly 2-dimensional. the ending felt a bit like sliding doors, the movie with Gweneth Paltrow.
breezed though in a few hours. some cute parts and an interesting look at the world.
