I picked up Pasternak because of Regina Spektor. He writes beautifully and I'd recommend his poetry to anyone who likes poetry. I continue to search his work (as I do for all poets) for evidence of a great love.

The first chapters (re: Saint Gut Free) were graphic enough to grab my attention. I am moving forward slowly.

How can you not want to read this book, by title alone?

An easy, quick read. A collection of approx. 10-15 short stories. I read them in order.

Titillating! A little strange at times but that's what happens with non-fiction. Not a book for everyone but I liked it.

Sort of just ended. I would read this author again.

It just ended. She talks about being a stripper at various venues. But there is no greater moral, no lesson. It just ends.

Quick, easy read, though not terribly well-written. A good story with good messages.

Couldn't put it down! I read it in like...4 hours. I read it on all my breaks and lunches at work because someone had it in the break room. It's written phonetically, with accents, which can be off-putting to some readers. If you like Trainspotting and Clockwork Orange, it's right up your alley, though. Great book but not a lot of plot.
