I’m a sucker for a forbidden romance and this one was no different!!! Olivia and Tomas’ chemistry was on point from the time she walked in the classroom and didn’t slow down AT ALL! I definitely wasn’t expecting the thriller type storyline but it fit well in the story though I felt it was a little drawn out. That ending though 🤯🤯🤯 can’t wait for book 2!

This was my first book by this author but it won’t be my last. Even though it started kind of slow it was needed to build up for the ending. At several points I had no idea who the murdering sister was and had convinced myself that I was the culprit 😂😂😂 I couldn’t finish it fast enough

Aaaaghghhhhhhh!!! This book was soooooo good! OMG!! This was my first read by this author and sis DID NOT come to play!!! This is the first book I’ve read that incorporated both erotica and thriller genres and they worked together SEAMLESSLY!!! I was intrigued by both aspects of the story and was on the edge of my seat the entire time!!! I would love to get another story about this couple!!

This is book 2 in the Hoops series and the body image issues definitely hit home for me. I used to Banner and could relate to EVERYTHING she was feeling about her body insecurities and second guessing people’s motives when being approached by people. I LOVED JARED 🥰🥰 he was didn’t play the radio with anyone about anything!!! He was an asshole loud and proud, take it or leave it! But the way he literally MELTED when it came Banner *swoons* This one is my fave of the series so far.

The book overall was good. I learned a lot about baseball that I feel confident I could follow a game if needed. The characters were cute and I was excited for their HEA. My only issue is that it was unnecessarily LONG! This book could have been a 5 star read for me had it been about 150 pages shorter.
