Thanks Atria books for the gifted copy! I was so excited to read this one because it seemed like so many people enjoyed it. It did start off kinda slow for me. I put down around page 63 and came back to it about a week or so later. It started getting good around page 100 and then I wasn’t able to put it down! This was such a great story about how these 3 people from different walks of life, backgrounds, social status, gender identities, and ethnicity, just to name a few, came to find each other and fall in love with one another 🥰 It gives a real depiction of a HEALTHY polyamorous relationship that involves guidelines that include things like communication and boundaries. I loved EVERYTIME they had to update those damn guidelines as their relationships progressed. Bebe was definitely my favorite 🤩 💅

This was my first Penelope read and I enjoyed it overall. The slow burn and sexual tension took up most of the book and I was annoyed. 😒 By the time they got to the GOOD STUFF I was kinda over it. The forbidden romance, age gap tropes were giving though. Ex boyfriend’s father and a 19 year age gap?!?! SIGN ME UP! The banter between Jordan and Pike was TOP TIER! My girl definitely kept him on his toes. My favorite parts of the book were the 2 epilogues at the end. I loved seeing how their lives panned out in the future.
