Gutwrenching.

Brilliant and inventive and fun to read.

The idea was cool, but the execution was mediocre. I did like the end, but Mark was such a horrible piece of shit that I could barely read it.

It had some good moments, but it didn't hold up well.

Some of these were fantastic and some were so gross I had to skim them.

This was pretty cute as far as contemporary romances go, but it's admittedly not my genre. I was disappointed in the sex scenes

because she just magically finishes even though there is no foreplay and he does nothing for her

and I would never have forgiven Miles for his bullshit

I don't think anything he did could make up for the fact that he forgot to pick Daphne up from work because he was helping Petra move, and THEN he has the nerve to get all mad at her and be like oh so one thing can ruin all the trust we had YES IT CAN YOU STUPID BASTARD THAT'S HOW TRUST WORKS WHEN YOU DITCH THE WOMAN YOU SUPPOSEDLY LOVE TO GO BE WITH YOUR EX

and it's a little boring because the entire cast is just straight white midwesterners. But it did make me laugh out loud a few times and I liked watching Daphne build a life.
